What we don't refund
A reading, matching or muhurat is guidance, and a puja is a religious service. We don't refund because an event did or didn't happen afterwards, or because you disagree with an astrologer's view. If you're unhappy with the way a service was delivered, tell us. We'll look at every case, and we will refund when we got something wrong.
How refunds are paid
- We refund the full amount you paid for the part being refunded, to the card or account you paid with, within 10 business days of agreeing the refund. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
- If you paid in a currency other than your card's, your bank's exchange rate may differ between payment and refund. We don't control that.
- If a problem comes up, please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank. It is usually much faster.
Your statutory rights
This policy adds to your legal rights as a consumer and doesn't take any away.
Consumers in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and India keep all the rights their local consumer laws give them. The "no refund" rows above apply only when you change your mind.
Australia: Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us, and to a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure is not major, you are entitled to have it put right in a reasonable time, and if that isn't done, to cancel and get a refund for the unused portion.
New Zealand: the Consumer Guarantees Act gives you guarantees that cannot be excluded, including that our services are provided with reasonable care and skill and are fit for the purpose you told us about. These rights apply on top of this policy.
India: the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 apply to your order. You can contact our grievance officer (named in our terms), the National Consumer Helpline on 1915, or the District Consumer Commission where you live or work, including online at e-daakhil.nic.in (Consumer Protection Act, 2019, section 34).
